This week we began learning all about Chanukah!! We started the day by spinning dreidels, putting candles in the menorah, decorating papers with our 'homemade dreidels markers' made out of markers and cd's, and making flames for our big Menorah in our classroom. We learnt that there are eight candles on a Menora plus a Shamash helper who helps light the other eight candles. We got to see pictures of many types of Menorahs such as Gold Menorahs, Silver Menorahs, Menorahs made out of ice and oil Menorahs. We are excited to continue with the Chanukah story over the next few days:)
